Hadassah’s Gandel Rehabilitation Center at Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus is now open. Great strides have been made in its work of healing both the body and the mind, but there is much work to be done to finish construction, purchase the much-needed equipment, and furnish the rooms. When the 323,000-square-foot-eight-story center is completed, it will:

  • Feature 140 inpatient beds
  • Service 250 patients per day in the outpatient clinic
  • Treat 10,000 patients annually
Since its opening in January 2024, the Gandel Center has made a difference in the lives of so many. Thank you so much for your generous donation and for making the dream of the Gandel Center a reality.

"My father always told me that the greatest mitzvah is to visit a person in the hospital. I can't be in Israel at the Gandel Rehabilitation Center, but I can give $100 to ease the pain in someone's life." - Diana Mass, Bat Harim Programming VP

Goal: $10,000 for Bat Harim’s Hope & Healing Fund to support the Gandel Rehabilitation Center.

Pikuach nefesh – saving a life – overrides all other mitzvahs.

The Gandel Rehabilitation Center needs us now more than ever. Do a mitzvah. If you can be more generous, please put the amount you’d like to donate in the box next to the dollar sign.

To pay by check, make the check payable to Hadassah. Email RSVPBatHarim@gmail.com to request the mailing address or bring it to a Bat Harim event.
