Lunch 'N Learn Returns to the '50's

We'll watch this (really dated and chuckle-worthy) 28-minute Hadassah film (here) and we’ll talk about how times have changed.

Let’s celebrate the iconic 1950s. Feel free to dress up in your or your mother’s 1950s attire (hat, fur stole, gloves). Following the discussion, we’ll show a short film about our 13th National President, Charlotte Jacobson, z”l. Charlotte was Hadassah President from 1964 to 1968, including during the Six Day War.

For 60 years, including those in the 1950s, she served in many leadership positions in American and world Zionist organizations. In 1998, Jacobson received Hadassah’s coveted Henrietta Szold Award, becoming the first Hadassah leader so honored. Please bring your own Passover-appropriate snack or lunch. We’ll have some canned macaroons and tea on hand!
