Hadassah Hawai`i On the Same Page Book Club invites you to a special party and discussion with local award-winning authors Rosemary and Larry Mild.
The subject is memoir writing and they'll share their three different kinds of memoirs and how and why they came to write them. See their writing styles, guides, and goals. Listen to valuable ideas and tips they acquired along the way. Share your own writing tips with others in the group. Already started writing a memoir? Bring a page or a paragraph from it to share with the group. Planning to write a memoir but don’t know how to start? Bring your open mind. Not at a memoir stage? Writing personal essays can be fun and rewarding.
