November Luncheon Meeting
A Hope for a New Beginning
Gale Sussman, daughter of Holocaust survivors and born in a West Berlin displaced person’s camp, will recount her personal story.
She will focus on life before World War II, atrocities committed by the Einsatzgruppen killing units, and experiences of those living in displaced persons camps after liberation. She will also recount her family’s journey to the U.S. and reflect on the challenges of adapting to a new culture.
Gale’s powerful family history has inspired her lifelong commitment to fostering kindness, understanding, and compassion in the world.
