Join us for an afternoon of Embracing Wholeness: The Resilience of Jewish Women.
In the face of recent events in Israel and rising global tensions, our community is seeking strength, clarity, and connection. We invite you to a meaningful event focused on Jewish resilience. Together, we will explore how Jewish values, history, and our Hadassah community can inspire healing, action, and hope.
A delicious luncheon and raffle to win fabulous gift baskets completes the day! This event is open to all. Profits will support Hadassah's Gandel Rehabilitation Center in Israel, so please invite your friends, family and colleagues to join you.
Keynote Speaker: Rabbi Deborah Waxman, Ph.D.
Rabbi Waxman, president and chief executive officer of Reconstructing Judaism, is creator and host of Hashivenu, a popular podcast about resilience and Judaism. She has taught courses at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College on Jewish thought and practical rabbinics and is a graduate of Columbia College, Columbia University, and the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. She earned a Ph.D. in American Jewish history from Temple University.
Special Guest: Marcie Natan
Past National President of Hadassah and former Chair of Youth Aliyah. A former National Vice President, she has also served as Chair of Planned Giving & Estates, Major Gifts, Unit Assessment, and Hadassah College. Her positions have included National President’s Training Chair, National Secretary, and National Treasurer. Marcie has traveled to Israel more than 130 times, serving Hadassah as a passionate Zionist.
