Our book selection is: The Women: A Novel by Kristin Hannah

From the celebrated author of The Nightingale and The Four Winds comes Kristin Hannah's The Women - at once an intimate portrait of coming of age in a dangerous time and an epic tale of a nation divided. Women can be heroes. The book centers around a combat nurse, Frankie, who has recently graduated from nursing school, and despite her parents' protests and disappointment she has joined the Army to assist as a combat nurse in the Vietnam War.
