Super South - HSSB - Charlotte Celebrate The TaTas: Stronger Together - 2025

Celebrate the TaTas: Stronger Together is a celebratory and fun-filled fundraising event hosted by Hadassah Charlotte Metro in partnership with the Levine JCC. The event includes the Beautiful TaTas painting experience, expert speakers from Hadassah, jscreen, and Sharsheret, community resources for breast/ovarian cancer patients, genetic testing opportunity with jscreen, lunch and a pink dessert table, silent auction, prize drawings, door prizes, vendor and information tables, and a Build-A-Bouquet flower activity.

The event will be held on Sunday, November 2 from 10am to 3pm.
Entrance to the event is free, but please reserve your spot by indicating the number of attendees on the form.
The free event includes speakers, information tables, and vendors.
Register to enjoy the painting experience, lunch, the pink dessert table, drawing tickets, and Build-A-Bouquet.
For the safety of participants, venue details will be provided once registration is complete.

Breast cancer is the second most deadly cancer for women in the US, causing 43,600 deaths each year. Hadassah researchers confirmed that Ashkenazi Jews have at least a 10 times greater prevalence of BRCA1 gene mutations, which can cause breast and ovarian cancer. We’re proud of the groundbreaking work Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) has done to pinpoint Ashkenazi women’s breast cancer risk and the continued strides they make in whole-woman care. Funds raised by the Celebrate the Tatas: Stronger Together events will be donated to the Hadassah Medical Organization, bringing healing to where it’s needed most while promoting and advancing women’s health.

Models can arrive beginning at 9:00am, before the doors open to the public.
Each painting session is 90 minutes. There is space for 8 models at each time slot.
If you would like to be painted, click "Get Painted" on the right to submit payment.
The link to select a time slot will be provided upon registration.

Doors open to the public at 10:00am.
Starting at 10:00am, attendees can work with jscreen on Genetic Testing and Counseling.
The link to register with jscreen will be provided on your confirmation page.

Speakers will speak at 11:30am and again at 1:30pm.
Lunch and the Pink Dessert Table will be available beginning at 11:00am.
Build-A-Bouquet will be available for the entire event.

Advanced registration is required.
Registration must be submitted by the end of the day on Friday, October 24th.
