Joanna Mendelson is the Senior Vice President, Community Engagement of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. In this role she helps convene statewide and national coalitions, expand interfaith and multi-faith community relationships, lead local, state, and federal advocacy efforts and strengthen ties to Israel.
Gabriella Karin is a survivor of the Holocaust and Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia. She is dedicated to educating young people in schools, at the Holocaust Museum Los Angeles, and the Museum of Tolerance. She has been invited to schools, synagogues, and many other events to help students to understand the history of the Holocaust.
Danielle Sasi was born in CA to Libyan-Israeli parents. On October 6th, Danielle’s mother told her and her husband Maor, she would watch their son so they, along with other family members, could attend the Nova festival, as long as they would be home by sunrise. Hear what they experienced.
Aaron Goldberg is the Senior Vice President, Israel for the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Director of its Israel Office. Prior to joining Federation, Aaron was an Associate Vice President at Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life and the Director of its International Division. Prior to assuming the international portfolio, Aaron was the Associate Director of the Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC). Aaron also served for seven years as the Assistant Director of the Chicago and Jerusalem offices of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). Aaron resides in Israel with his wife Limor and their four children.
