Even before October 7, 2023, Jewish Federation of Greater Portland had been tracking an uptick in anti-Jewish bias and hate in our local K-12 schools. Federation has been working with parents and community members to respond and provide resources to local area educators. Join Rachel Nelson, the Director of Educational Initiatives & Associate Director of Community Relations at the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland, as she shares how Federation works with schools and administrators to help families and students. Learn what Hadassah is doing to combat anti-Jewish bias and how you can make your voice heard on these issues.
