Our special guest speaker Abby Jiang will speak about her memoir, "The Bumpy Road: A Memoir of a Journey from Shanghai."

This honest memoir draws a raw and realistic picture of a girl in Shanghai from 1954-1987 when China was closed to the rest of the world. It vividly shows the traditional society before the great reform in China in the 1980s, as well as the life of different classes of the common people who all struggled through the confusion of the Chinese Cultural Revolution and the strange years following. Abby was a "princess" from an affluent family whose life was changed forever by the turbulent revolution.. It is a compelling story.

Everyone must RSVP by 11/15 at 12 pm - No Walk-ins

Vaccination for COVID-19 is recommended; masks are encouraged but not required.
Proceeds to benefit Hadassah.
