MW - CNS - Annual Giving Thank You Event with Chocolate Tasting by Julie Corbier de Lara, Pastry Chef and Chocolatier - 2024

Together let's celebrate our Annual Givers and welcome new Annual Givers. Let's explore the world of chocolate with a chocolate tasting and a presentation with Julie Corbier de Lara. We will learn everything you want to know about chocolate, including the history, ingredients, and techniques for creating chocolate candy.

Julie Corbier de Lara is the owner of One Last Bite LLC and writes her own cooking blog, onemorebitedelara.com. She is currently employed at Illinois Nut & Candy. Julie has been working in the restaurant and pastry business for over 30 years. She travels to France regularly to learn about the latest chocolate and pastry techniques.

This event is open to all Keepers of the Gate and Chai Society donors. You can become an annual giver for as little as $180/year ($15/month). If you are interested in learning more or becoming an annual giver, please go to go.hadassah.org/MidwestAnnualGiving.

Everyone will receive a gift bag with candy from Illinois Nut & Candy, generously donated by Lauren Matles.
